What does thumbs up/thumbs down mean?
It’s simple – did they show up or not?
- Thumbs up or down represent a traveller’s punctuality and reliability. It is separate to a reference, but acts as an additional way for working travellers to build their reputation.
- You will give a Thumbs Up if they arrive at your place of work at on the day they say they would ( or a day or two later if hitch hiking etc). If they arrive a week late and did not contact you, or not at all, you give a ‘Thumbs Down’ to let other hosts know.
- A Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down given to the traveller can only be removed by you, the host.
