We are urgently looking for three volunteers with excellent English skills to teach English in Hanoi, Thai Nguyen city (Northern Vietnam) and Vinh Phuc province.

1. The first is in Hanoi, and teachers will be based in Hanoi and stay with CVTD in the volunteer housing here. Volunteers who stay with us for less than four weeks will be charged a small fee of $35 per week to cover accommodation and meals. There is free internet connectivity. Volunteers staying longer than four weeks will stay free of charge.

2. Thai Nguyen city. This is actually a paid volunteer position.
The volunteer placement is to teach English in Northern Vietnam – Thai Nguyen city – the third largest city in Vietnam some 70km north of Ha Noi.
• The program is ongoing and duration begins from one month upwards – there is no limit to the duration.
• The age of the students range between 6 and 14 years, not all in the same classroom, of course
• Number of teaching hours per week – 17
• Accommodation is free and volunteers will be paid $100 per month for food and pocket money. Volunteer accommodation is in Thai Nguyen, in a modern, extremely safe, large three bedroom house with kitchen facilities, refrigerator and internet.
• Volunteers will also have free use of a motorbike, bicycle and bus fare will be paid. Some outdoor activities and sightseeing included for free.
• Food price in Thai Nguyen is very cheap so you will manage easily on the money. Volunteers can spend one week with CVTD here near Ha Noi to see the area before going to Thái Nguyên.
