I have been in employment since the age of 17. I have mainly worked in the hospitality sector working in retail shops such as Dorothy Perkins and restaurants such a Weatherspoon’s pub and big brands like Starbucks. I have had 4 years of customer communication skills and am currently working as a team leader, giving me experience in how to operate a smooth and successful working environment. I have also been building my leadership skills within the officer’s training corps within the British Army.

My duties involve managing a team of anything from 4- 9 depending on how busy it is. I also deal with any customer complaints and insuring my team upholds a welcoming atmosphere. I am also in charge of seasonal promotion decorations and merchandise. I am currently a seasonal team leader and work for them out of term time.

My duties included serving customer’s coffee, stocking up and making fresh sandwiches and keeping the floor and shop area clean and tidy. I was also in charge of seasonal decorating and cashing up if I was on the closing shift.

My duties involved serving customers their drinks, taking their food orders and waiting and clearing tables, also dealing with any complains or suggestions the customers may have. Unfortunay Priceless Barratt when into administration and we were made redundant. This was my first paid employment, which I enjoyed; I quite quickly became a reliable and flexible member of the team.

About Me

I am a very driven person I enjoy anything active or challenging. I spend most of my time either doing work for my university course, working on my computer graphics skills, doing physical activity and working or seeing friends. I am a very outgoing person and I love to do and see new things. Many people would describe me as a polite and approachable person which has got me very far in the world of employment. Spending the last year with the officers training corps has helped me to work on my confidence and organisational skills. it has given me many great opportunities to mould myself into a more mature and successful person.
