I have a true left brain, right brain happening. For years I sharpened the tools in the left brain: market analysis, branding strategies, forecasting, search engine optimization. Over the course of this year, I have worked to refresh the right brain: holistic practices, creativity, getting my hands dirty, sustainable techniques, minimizing my carbon footprint.
About Me
Back in December I finally convinced myself that there had to be more to life than working in front of a computer all day, particularly given the tragic state of the planet. So, I left and packed up and shipped down to South/Central America for the beginning part of this year. While down there, I spent much of my time volunteering and learning about what I really have a passion for: gardening, natural healing and conservation. I started at a farm in Colombia: fully-organic, all sustainable and fully off-grid where I learned about their local plants, the use of the sun as a natural dehydrator, and so much more. Most recently in Costa Rica I spent some time at a healing cafe and organic market to learn more about cleansing the body with natural elements from the earth and how certain herbs and minerals interact with one another to have the most benefit and promotional material. In August, I plan to head East (across the pond) and would love to continue on my quest to learn more, working with the outdoors and helping the conservation efforts.
