Full CV / Resume

I studied fashion design in one of Minsk private schools of design that

specialized in dressmaking, stylistics, and the design of clothes itself. My university degree is far from

the fashion world, since I earned a Bachelor’s degree in software engineering and robotics. On entering

University, I immediay realized that it wasn’t my career path, that’s why I started learning how to

make clothes, combining it and university studies. I finished University in 2007,

though I have never worked within my degree specialization. After finishing University, I took up a job as

an assistant costume designer at a cinema studio. I worked on the set for 20 hours per day, almost with

no day-offs and for meagre wages. That time I set up a goal of becoming a costume artist, and after a

year of considerable efforts, I realized it. Thus, I worked as a costume artistr in Belarusian cinema for

five years. I worked for important national projects , mostly historical and military, as well as

advertisements and music video clips. However, at some point I understood that I had my own voice,

and working in the cinema sphere was no longer of pleasure for me as an artist. This is how I got to the

designer school, and later to the catwalk.
