About Me

My name is Janna. I am a Dutch girl on an Indian adventure. Born and raised in Amsterdam, I've spend many happy years there, from studying History to playing basketball, from enjoying live music and other cultural activities to setting up my own business in Public History. But now I found it time to see more of the world, discover other places and meet new people. So I set out for South-East Asia and India. To me an important part of travelling is connecting to people, getting to know other cultures and to somehow make a contribution rather then just passing by. Thats why I signed up with Working Traveller.
I am an openminded person. I am curious and always willing to learn new things. Playing (and watching) basketball makes me very happy, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking. But I'd be just as happy with a good book or having a laidback evening watching films or listening (or dancing!) to music. What I also love to do -and what people l me I am good at- is writing: from journalist articles to applications for funds and communication texts. When running my business at home I gained a lot of experience in these things. I like to dedicate mysel to new things as well!

Of course there is a lot more to l but why not do that in person? 🙂

I'm looking forward to become part of inspiring projects and share ideas, knowledge and of course lots of laughs!
