I am junior at a university in the United States, but I am studying for the semester in Barcelona, Spain. I study International Business and Spanish Language. I am involved in many extracurricular activities at my university which have allowed me to build not only my leadership and interpersonal skills, but also my organizational, administrative, and creative skills. I am a self-motivated, goal-oriented and hard-working individual looking to offer my talents and skills to gain experience while traveling.

I spent two summers abroad in France and Ecuador reaching children in need, I developed a passion and commitment to make a lasting impact in not only my local community, but internationally as well. I love to work with people in order to learn about new cultures and lifestyles. In the future I would love to have a job that enables me to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

I have had two internships. Last summer I worked as a Bsiness Development Intern for a Nonprofit Organization where I got to shadow the founder of the company. I got to assist his business team in writing the Business Plan, Marketing Plan, and I created a Communication/Social Media strategy for the organization. In the summer of 2014 I worked alongside the Project Manager of a different nonprofit organization as her intern. I participated in project planning as I established project objectives and priorities and saw these projects through to completion. I believe these internships gave me great insight into the nonprofit sector and I cannot wait to apply what I have learned as I continue to be able to help make a positive impact in our world.

Before I began attending university I worked as a Lifeguard for one summer, a Receptionist for one summer, a Camp Counselor for one summer, and I have been babysitting children for may years.
