My skills

I have worked in the fast-paced sports industry for 2 years. This includes putting on a large scale event for an international crowd as well as focusing on corporate sales for a professional baseball team in California. Working in Sales required the ability to multi-task, conversational and personal skills, being creative, proactive, diligent and organized. I handled 15-30 clients over the year servicing their contracts which included tickets to games, suite nights, on-field events, player events, signage and budgeting for promotion/advertising and marketing plans. More recently, I have lived in Spain for 2 years teaching English to students where I lived in Madrid and Seville. I taught English to a range of ages in both a public school and private academy. I planned my own lessons, designed games and activities, prepared for English Language exams and held private lessons both in school and outside on my own. I am a hard worker, dedicated and quick to learn and up to any challenge.

About Me

After graduating college I went straight into working for a professional sports team working in corporate sales. After two years I felt the urge to travel and see the world and I moved to Spain where I have lived for the past two years. I taught English and in my spare time I travelled all over Europe, seeing the sights and meeting new friends along the way. I fell in love with the culture and language in Spain and travelling has become a passion. I am fun loving, energetic and always up for a challenge. I am hard working and dedicated, passionate and easy going. I love trying new things, eating the local food and meeting positive people.
