Mystic Mountain is a micro hobby farm & aspiring eco-village. We are committed to self-sufficiency & sustainability. We live off the land as much as possible & grow organic veggies in our hoophouses & gardens, & raise a small flock of birds for eggs/meat.

    What we provide

    How we work

    Transportation is provided between town & the homestead. Room & board is provided on-site, usually a bunk in a shared room; volunteers are expected to participate in meal prep/clean-up on a rotational basis. Laundry facilities are available, along with a shower & sauna in the bathhouse. Plenty of time off is allowed for hiking, kayaking, fishing, beachcombing, etc. Hosts will dedicate some time each week to teaching helpers homesteading skills.
