HELP English Volunteer

As a HELP English Volunteer, you will support fun, interactive English sessions for local children while gaining valuable experience in community development and education. This position is also available as a co-ordinator role depending on your motivation, skillset and our needs. You will work alongside the REC Coordinator and Programme Manager as part of a supportive team. Teaching for the HELP English project only takes a few hours each week, so you will also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of other volunteer activities, including English classes in local schools and libraries, youth and environmental projects, homework support, girls education initiatives, and community improvement projects. This varied role allows you to contribute around 25 hours per week while exploring different aspects of OCNs work.
