HELP Environment Volunteer

As a HELP Environment Volunteer, you will inspire local children to care for the environment through fun, interactive activities while contributing to meaningful community projects. This role is also available as a coordinator role depending on your motivation, skillset and our needs. You will support environmental education sessions at the Recreational and Educational Centre (REC), take part in monthly beach clean-ups, and help deliver sustainability initiatives. Volunteers are also encouraged to share their own ideas, with past projects including composting and hydroponic gardens. The environmental project only takes a few hours each week, giving you the opportunity to get involved in a variety of other OCN initiatives, such as English teaching, youth and literacy programmes, girls education, homework support, community improvement projects, and animal welfare. This varied role offers around 25 hours of volunteering per week.
