WRITE FOR US!Our hostel has always been dedicated to travelers and created by travelers. Although we strive to bring you the best travel content and information about Palawan to our travelers, we also recognise that there is little better advice than that given by people who have been there and done it recently WHY WRITE FOR US?If you're considering a career in travel writing or photography, having your work featured on our site is a great way to start. It shows potential employers that you're serious about writing. If you are an experienced travel blogger, linking up with us would be great exposure to past, current and future guests and volunteers that are passionate travelers-- that would be of no extra cost to you. We'll also promote your articles, under your byline, across our various social media platforms, giving it far greater exposure than you're likely to receive on a personal blog.We ask for two articles per day about Palawan, 500 words per article. You would need your own laMore...ptopand we can provide the wifi. You would have to have pretty good English as we don't have much time to edit WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We're not too strict about the style of content we feature on the site - we have useful list articles, anecdotal and funny stories, photo essays, and a great deal more. As long as the quality is high we'll be happy! We require that you already have an existing travel blog with at least 20 articles written by you. We especially are doing a feature that many guests and volunteers we've had have found interesting, and currently we've over 30 submissions for this article, and counting. Aside from the normal tourist spot exchanges, travelers are in the midst of a courageous journey both external and internal. We believe fellow travelers can learn from that. Before you pitch us an article idea we recommend having a good look around the site at what we publish, and think about how your article would add to what we already have. It's also worth seeing which countries we're lacking content on - new things about Palawan IMPORTANT: 1. We are extremely busy as of the moment, at the same time we are getting more volunteer applicants. Please help us answer faster by answering the ten questions below. These questions help us know quickly if we can host you, and also know more about your background and travel plans. All these questions are based from our experience with previous volunteers: Questions: 1. Why did you choose Palawan? 2. Have you done WT/volunteering before? (If so, when and what did you do?) (If not, have you done other volunteer work before?) 3. Have you travelled outside your own country or is this the first time you are travelling? 4. How can your talents or skills help our business? 5. IMPORTANT: What dates would you like to work with us? (Please write the dates in complete words, not 5/6 or 21st to 30th because this causes confusion.) 6. Where in Palawan do you want to go? 7. Where in the Philippines are you going? 8. Where in Asia are you going? 9. Where in Asia have you been? 10.What are your expectations from us as hosts? Hide
