My name is Andrei Narozhnyi. I am 34 years old. I'm from Kharkov, Ukraine. I work as an engineer in a Project Institute.



Me and my friend Oleg are planning to volunteer outside our country this summer. Usually in summer we take a vacation and go to help people. Oleg is also 34 years old. He is a freelancer and is developing various software for business.


We would like to begin this trip at the end of June. Approximate duration of the trip will be 2-3 months.

We started volunteering recently, about three years ago.


At that time, I asked myself: "Why am I doing this? What can volunteers give to people? What can a volunteer give to a child in an Orphanage and to an elderly person in a Veterans' House?".


It seems to me that the main purpose of volunteer work is to communicate, to pay attention at everything.


I guess all people at least once in their life were volunteers because every person helped, for example, the old lady to cross the road. A volunteer is a just person, he will never pass by someone else's grief and will not be afraid of difficulties.

 all this time we managed to try our efforts in such basic directions:


- We helped a local ho in the high season (housekeeping, cleaning, cooking, administration etc.);


- Participated in the organization of conferences on programming (preparation of material, speeches, reports);


- Participated in the rising donation for the poor, single, children and the elderly generation;


- We worked in agriculture sphere in vegetable warehouses, household plots.


This is not a complete list of what we did and what we know now.


We have an intermediate level of English. We can fluently speak English. Our native language is Russian.


For us, it's not a problem to overcome difficulties and learn something new and interesting. You can safely rely on us and trust us.


We can carry out various assignments and tasks, and can also help in the following areas:

Would you give us opportunity to join your staff from June to September. We are available also for a shorter period if needed. Specific dates can be moved and discussed individually. We do not need much - just accommodation and food if it is possible.
