EXPERIENCE

Davvi Arctic,  Lapland - Safaris Administration

November 2019 - March 2020

Being a Safaris Administrator for Davvi Arctic has given me the opportunity to have more responsibility as it was my most senior position to date. In addition, this position required me to utilise and develop my planning and organisational skills which I began to develop during my degree. As Safaris Administrator I had the responsibility of planning the guest’s itineraries for their stay in Lapland. I would plan their holiday by starting from an initial resort report that was received from the tour operator 2 weeks prior to the guest’s arrival. Then I would adapt their programs due to changes that occur during their stay to ensure the guests enjoy their holiday as much as  possible.

TUI , Ibiza- Holiday Representative

August 2019 - October 2020

I was delighted to work in Ibiza for the largest tour operator in the world for my first graduate job. I was a guest service representative who ensured that all TUI guests at the resort had the most enjoyable holiday. This position challenged me as it was the busiest hospitality establishment I had worked in, but this only increased my confidence. In addition, this position increased my communication skills with non UK colleagues/guests and gave me the experience of working somewhere that had a different culture.

Fingal, Edinburgh - Receptionist

January 2019 - June 2019

After demonstrating my loyalty over 3 years to The Royal Yacht Britannia company I was offered a position more suited to my studies, in the new 5*  floating boutique ho that they opened. Throughout my new position within the company I was a key member during part the launch for Fingal ho. Onboard Fingal I was the first person the guests encountered at the reception desk. In a professional manor I would  complete check ins, check outs, maintenance reports, occasional housekeeping duties and lead  private tours.
