About Me

Hello, my name is Karina and I'm really thankful for being part of this community! I hope I'll get a great experience!
WorkingTraveller is not the only community I'm in. As a rule, I am an always-volunteer at my alumni FLEX ("Future Leaders Exchange" program) community and America House in Kyiv, Ukraine (american center).
I might actually start by describing my ordinary day in my life because it will make you easier understand what I am like and what I can be useful for 🙂
I study in Kyiv, Ukraine in Kyiv National Linguistic University majoring Chinese language, consequently, I have a dream to go to China in the future to see my good friend who I met during my stay in the USA and also experience life there and also share my culture with them. Moreover, I love to travel. Even thought I traveled only to 3 other countries but soon I want to continue filling with checking marks my Traveling bucket list. So, usually, in the mornings I am at the classes in my university and afternoon and evening are the time when I enjoy my life the fullest. Sometimes after classes (to be exact, 3 days per week) I have vocal classes or contemporary dance classes. If I don't have them, I don't spend my time in the dorm because it's too boring, I take part in the volunteer events. 3 days per week in the evenings I teach workout classes to the girls in my dorm and they do really enjoy attending them. Also, recently I got involved into an inlectual game "What? Where? When?" in my city and currently leading a group of 6 people who are playing this game with me with other student groups between universities.
Late at night-time is the time for homework. That's the time when I have to write a lot in Chinese 🙂 If I am done fast, I still have time to continue to write my new novel called "Tighten" while listening to music because it inspires me a lot. I listen to quiet music, sometimes it's either Ukrainian, American or Chinese.
I try to fill up my day with events as much as I can because that's what we are here for - do great things and get involved, live the fullest! Thank you!!
-Karina
