Host overview

We have a small, 7 bedroomed ho on 50 acres of Soil Association certified land. We also farm around 120 sheep, a couple of pigs and have three horses. We have extensive vegetable gardens which supply the restaurant kitchen. We appreciate help with the farm animals and also welcome experienced gardeners. On the restaurant/ho side, we also need some help on the food prep and laundry side. For those who love to cook, there is plenty of opportunity to learn from a skilled chef. We butcher our own animals, make our own preserves, chutneys and pickles, bake our own bread, cakes and biscuits.  We are also home to a family of 8 wild beavers, so if you are keen on wildlife photography and are prepared to tiptoe down to the stream at dawn or dusk, you can get some amazing pictures and videos.
