I have good experience with children, having worked both as a school tutor and a babysitter. In addition, I have worked in volunteer kitchens and restaurants for years.
What I lack in experience I make up for with enthusiasm, hard work and great people skills 🙂

I'm a well-educated university student studying Sociology, with a focus on social change and NGOs. I don't have a very diverse work background, but what I lack in experience I make up for in enthusiasm and hard work.
Work Experience
4 years in a volunteer kitchen (learning about nutrition and making local, organic meals for low income cancer patients and their families)
3 years in the restaurant industry as a waitress
4 years as a school tutor for elementary school and high school children
3 years as a babysitter
About Me
I absoluy love to travel and learn about cultures and ways of life different from my own. I am currently on a year long trip around the world, doing some volunteer work as I go along. I love hiking and everything else that has to do with being out in nature--going to the beach, kayaking, camping, etc. The world has so much to offer and I plan on doing everything I can in life to take advantage of it while giving back at the same time. My dream is to start my own non-profit in Brazil one day, a country that I once lived in and hold very close to my heart. I'm hard working, open-minded, and enthusiastic, and I hope to get the opportunity to work with you.
