My skills

I have done numerous volunteering projects near to home, and I am confident and comfortable with backpacking, bushcraft and hard work. I have strong people skills and rarely struggle with communication. I'm a hard worker that can follow instructions and work on my own or in a team, I am not afraid to ask questions if I am unsure of something.

Full CV / Resume

I have a level 3 extended BTEC Diploma in backstage theatre, this involved set building, project and people management, costume making, lighting design and lighting operation. I have also had experience with lighting as a volunteer in the Salisbury City Hall, lighting a musical and had paid work in the same field at the Salisbury Arts Festival.

I also have retail experience, I spent 3 months in the Edinburgh Woollen Mill as a sales assistant.

9 months working at Sparkford McDonald's, this work included cooking, cleaning, serving customers and making drinks.

I have also worked numerous jobs in kitchens, doing kitchen porter work in various pubs and restaurants.

I have achieved the National Citizen Service award, which included learning numerous practical skills (Map reading, canoeing, kayaking, abseiling etc.) This programme also included volunteering; working with the elderly, pulling up invasive weeds and running an archery programme for children.

I have also spent time on my mother's farm in France, assisting with the animals, fencing, building enclosures and general assistance, I have also recently picked up some roofing skills alongside this.

I have basic medical training, and I have received my emergency first aid at work certificate.

I have 8 B grades in my GCSEs, including English and Maths. I spent my first semester at university studying archaeology and my second semester studying film and whilst I enjoy these subjects I do not feel like studying them was the right choice for me.

I am keen to learn new skills and am excited to travel to new places

About Me

I spent the last four years in Foster care, so I'm pretty good at integrating into new households! I've lived with numerous families in my own country and I can't wait to meet new people!

I've spent the last year living in university halls, and have increased my ability to be self sufficient, I'm a generally tidy person (in terms of I clean up after myself) but definiy don't mind living in an unorganised space for working and I don't mind getting my hands dirty.

I'm a positive person and pride myself in being able to find the good in every situation, though I know when to be sensitive. I enjoy playing the guitar and piano, and I love learning new practical skills, especially those to do with survival and bushcraft.

I love listening to people's stories and am fascinated by different cultures
