I am a recent graduate from the University of Florida. I graduated with my BFA in Graphic Design and two minors in Mass Communications and Art History. I have been a graphic designer with my internship at Florida Sea Grant for two years now. I design publication covers, exhibition posters, handouts, rack cards, and -based graphics. We work with extension agents all across Florida dealing with water-related issues such as sea-level rise, safe boating, scalloping standards, and seagrass restoration. I enjoy using my scientific mind and artistic talent to educate the general public about these issues. As for my other hobbies, I was in an organization at the University of Florida for three years called Swamp Records. We are a student-run record label that helps promote the local Gainesville music scene. I worked alongside the graphics team in Branding to create advertisements and artwork for these bands and events. We held four festivals a year, so besides helping with graphic design, I also worked the events in box office and did photography.
