My skills

I am a very hard worker and a keen learner. I have experience in customer service, having worked in retail at the supermarket chain Waitrose for 2 years. I then worked as a waitress and bartender at a gastro pub in London for the next 2 years. I am currently a second year undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews in Scotland studying for a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Philosophy. I am also a Maths tutor for 5 different students aged 16-18, helping them achieve the grades they require to get into University. Also, I can drive a manual car with years of experience! I used to be on the school swim team and I am a very strong it comes to outdoors, although I am a city girl, my grandmother lives in a small town in Tennessee on a large piece of land. This means that, once a year, when I visit her, I spend plenty of time outdoors exploring the BEAUTIFUL landscapes, rivers and wildlife that surrounds her. She is 92, so I also spend A LOT of time working on her farm and keeping things in have been learning German for a while now, but haven't used my language in 2 years, since I started studying at University. I am desperay keen to improve on it, but I have reached the point where taking classes no longer inspires me - I need to travel to a German speaking country! I took German the whole way through school, achieved an A*️️️ in my A Level, and spent 2 weeks teaching English at a primary school in Viernheim. I am more than happy to help with general maintenance, cleaning, cooking, customer service and any other help you may need. I am not lazy by any means, and I would constantly be a helping hand.

About Me

I'm incredibly enthusiastic when it comes to meeting new people who have all sorts of stories and experiences to share. I have spent the past two summers with a backpack exploring Europe, and this summer I am travelling to India for one whole month (!!!!!). Travelling and making new friends is undoubtedly my favourite thing to do! Although I have lived in London for almost all of my life, my father is American and my mother Bulgarian, so I have close friends in all parts of the world. As well as this, St Andrews is an amazingly international University, which means I am fortunate enough to have friends and hear stories from all kinds of different people. This has fuelled my desire to travel and work abroad.
