I have been an elementary and middle school reading, language arts, special education, and English as a Second Language teacher for ten years. Prior and during, I have worked in front and back of house in several restaurants and bars in Seattle. I have held positions in housecleaning, childcare, gardening, and home management. I also worked on a biodynamic diversified vegetable and flower farm for one year. My husband is a professional chef from Alsace, France and we often team up to work on catering or event production together. I am a yearly volunteer at the Oregon Country Fair and Burning Man since 1999, working in event preparation and production.
About Me
I am traveling with my husband and 4 year old son. We both are taking a year sabbatical to travel, learn, connect, and become reinspired. I would love to work as a way to help fund our travels and to connect/ contribute to the places we visit. I am a hard worker and busy person by nature, but I love to spend time cooking and entertaining, making art, working and playing outdoors, learning languages, dancing and listening to all kinds of music from all over the world (I studied Jazz, Samba, and Flamenco dance for a few years), and spending time with my son and husband and friends. I am clean, organized, and motivated.
