Host overview

This community house is unusual and special. The view is beautiful and looks kind of surreal. The feel is that of a sanctuary.
People come here to heal, to get roots planted or just for a respite from the mainland out-of-breath realities. The electricity is from solar, grey water is recycled and biodiesel is produced here. I work for Maui County Dept. of Environmental Management.

    How we work

    We are a working house with on-going projects. That said, there are co-created dinners and common area involvement. The hos environment is the key that opens the door to relationships and friendships. Bring a tent, sleep in the loft, use the surf shack, shack up inside, use a hammock- there are a options.
