YPN run onsite training and professional crews throughout the UK festival summer season (May to September) including positions in: production management, lighting, sound, artist liaison, site build crews, stage management, photography and film.
No experience needed, and anyone is welcome to apply to join the training crews. The YPN unique training system means that you will be looked after and guided on site to ensure you have the support you need as part of the festival production team. Joining the YPN crews are a great way to gain valuable work experience and event s for future paid work. All your travel, catering and accommodation expenses will be covered as standard. Experienced crew are also welcome to join, and apply for paid festival roles. This includes the opportunity to become a YPN Crew Chief and lead the new teams on site.
The YPN Launch event will kick off the summer season festival style on a beautiful country estate - a chance to meet the crew, connect with high level industry professionals, and be the first to hear about this summers festival opportunities. There will be a wide variety of summer festival roles, so check each placement for specific requirements and benefits offered.

How we work
Due to the diversity of the work placements we will be offering, what we offer will be different for each placement so it is best to see each work placement for the details on what we provide. Again it also depends on your level or experience and skills. Some positoins are paid work placements but most are volunteering positions for people wanting to get into the Live Event industry.
