No entanto, como se trata de uma região litorânea e turística, o conselho que eu daria para um viajante que está de passagem seria trabalhar em algum hostel, em algum restaurante ou em algum bar.

What kinds of work are there in Rio de Janeiro in autumn? Maybe it's harvest time, but do people need the help of foreigners for either cheap labour or expertise? This is the kind of thing we need to know here.
WINTER
Rio is a city that does not present a lot of changes in its weather. Therefore, it's always easy to find different types of jobs. Working in a coffee shop, at the mall, guiding tourists, etc are options that will be available year around. There is no type of "winter work" as the weather average keeps constant during all the year.
ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN RIO DE JANEIRO
