Assistant Volunteer organizer/Assistant Farm Project Leader- start ASAP

This paid internship is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain experience with group organizing, overseeing landscaping projects, agricultural projects and market sales. Training in the use of farm tools (chainsaw, tractor etc.) will be provided to those who prove themselves trustworthy and safety minded. The position starts as soon as possible and can last the right candidate indefinitely, but please be able to commit to a minimum of 2 months. Please specifically be prepared to take shared responsibility for - -leading up to 4 volunteers in the completion of projects -5-8 chords of firewood hauled, split and stacked. -2 acres of organic garden planted, tended and harvested. -fencing monitored, rotated(along with animals) -volunteer interviewing, recruitment and leading (up to 4 volunteers at a time)
