HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE

September 2012 – Event Assistant – TechEd Avenues (Auckland CBD)

As an Event Assistant at TechEd Avenues, I was responsible for ensuring that everything ran smoothly during events. My main duties included ushering guests to their seats, setting up rooms, waiting on tables, bartending, and cleaning up after events. This job required me to be highly organized and attentive to detail, as well as being able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

July 2010 – October 2011 – Cinema Attendant – Lido Cinema (Epsom, Auckland)

Working at Lido Cinema as a Cinema Attendant gave me the opportunity to interact with people from all walks of life. My main responsibilities included handling cash, making coffee as a barista, bartending, ushering guests to their seats, and training new staff. It was a highly enjoyable role that allowed me to develop excellent customer service skills, as well as a keen eye for detail and an ability to work in a team.

March 2009 – June 2010 – Waiter/bartender – Wagamama (Sylvia Park, Auckland)

As a Waiter/Bartender at Wagamama, I was responsible for ensuring that customers had a memorable dining experience.
