My skills

I’m Trevor, a former teacher and YMCA camp worker. I taught social studies for 4 years at the middle and high school level, I’m certified in CELTA, and I worked at a summer camp as a cabin leader, division head (behavior support and leader management), the North Camp Director, and then as the Assistant Camp Director full time. I am passionate about travel and learning about history, languages, and other cultures.

About Me

I am very interested in history. In college, I studied European history. I constantly read history books as well as fantasy and science fiction. I enjoy learning languages, in particular French. I am an avid traveler and I have been to more than 20 countries so far and I am looking to explore more. I enjoy spending time off the beaten path and avoiding tourist traps. I like to immerse myself and so frequently I go to France and spend time in provincial towns.
