SPRING

What kinds of work are available in the spring time in of Central Okanagan. Remember to keep work that is all year round in the section above and not mention it again here.

SUMMER

When winter is over and you come back down from he ski hills, Working a summer in Kelowna is amazing. Set on the okonagan lake. Summer reaches temperature of mid 30's C and lots of fun can be had here. Festivals, wake boarding, jet skiing, beach volleyball, river floating. Lots of hospitality and labouring work to be found.

AUTUMN

What kinds of work are there in of Central Okanagan in autumn? Maybe it's harvest time, but do people need the help of foreigners for either cheap labour or expertise? This is the kind of thing we need to know here.

WINTER

Skiing and snowboarding in the Okanagan is real and everything you imagined! All four major resorts here; Sun Peaks Resort, Big White Ski Resort, Silver Star Mountain Resort and Apex Mountain Resort are amazing in their own way. The ski hills attract locals and foreigners alike each year - and the locals love it. Must know how to ski/snowboard, and must know how to have a great time, and must be friendly! The hills open up around Oct-December and stay open until around March-May, depending on the season. Some jobs include staff housing, and some include seasons passes. Jobs include but are not limited to: housekeeping, dishwashing, serving, bar tending, first aid on the mountain, ski/snowboard instructor, bouncer, chairlift operator, janitorial duties, and so on.

ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN OF CENTRAL OKANAGAN

What is the attitude here? Are we all rich idiot tourists and if so, why on earth would we want to do some work? Or are we seen as western supremacists and viewed with suspicion? Let us know your thoughts and update them here.
