So if you look around I would have thought getting some work there at peak times would be possible. Bestjobs.ro has a lot of permanent jobs but no short term work. Companies value foreign opinions, so their is the opportunity of consultancy work within medium sized businesses. There is also a small ex pat community that often need building skills and various help with things from someone who speaks their own language.

And it is assumed there is some untold reason for you being here, as no one in their right mind would want to come to Bucharest to work when they can work in their home country for more money. Foreigners are seen as knowing the 'correct' way of doing things and so value the foreigners input. They have no problem with you working here and will want to work with you, practicing their English and knowledge of 'outside' as they call it.
