ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN TATARSTAN

Most of people in Tatarstan consider tourists as interesting people, not always reach. Maybe some of old generation think that foreigners are a bit weird, but still treating them friendly and with respect. Meanwhile lots of young people believe that to meet travellers is a great opportuninity to make new friends and to have a cultural exchange. Of course, there's always a small group of criminals who can do some bad things for tourists, as everywhere, but you can see them by their faces and just avoid contact them. Maybe it's not very safe to walk at night in such districts as Kirovsky and Aviastroitelny of Kazan city. But mostly the town has a lot of tourists and students from abroad, so local people are welcoming and helpful.
