WORK IN EDEN MUNICIPALITY ALL YEAR ROUND

Eden Municipality better know as the Garden Route is an amazing place for tourists and travelers! It is not as well known as other areas in South Africa but it is beautiful with so much to offer and still gives you the "off the beaten track" vibe.

The thing that most attracts people to this part of SA is the great diversity of nature... The Garden Route is known for its forests, beaches and waves! One thing to remember is that the G-Route is massive, if you take out a map or check out google maps for the G-Route you will see that it starts in a town called Mosselbay and ends in Tsitsikama or Storms River. In between Mosselbay and Storms River, there are many small little villages and towns.

The tourist industry is big in the G Route, finding jobs at Backpackers, Lodges and Hotels should be easy as there are sooo many different places to choose from, its all just about finding which place is right for you and then sending an email...

Adventure Tour guiding is also quite big, where you can do anything from kloofing ( taking people into the forests and jumping off cliffs) to giving surfing lessons, whale watching, sight seeing ect. One of my friends own their own Adventure Tour company called Trip-Out adventures, have a look on google and feel free to contact him (Donavan Smith) maybe he could have a job for you!

Ilde Pain is a famous bakery in Knysna ( in the middle of the Garden Route) you could possibly spend your days baking away...
When it comes to the food industry there are many opportunities for you to do waitressing or bar-tending!

The Garden Route is mostly a big nature reserve and they do a lot of nature conservation, you could def get involved in that by volunteering - check out SANparks and see what they have to offer....

I hope this helps and that if you ever go to the G-route ( I highly recommend it) i hope you have a fantastic time and remember once you get here, word of mouth is the most powerful tool for tips and so forth...

Love, Peace, Happiness
:)
