SPRING

There is a lot of work available, especially in French. During the summer, the work is focused on water activities, catering, warehouse, gardening. Depending on your degree, you can find jobs more focused on your field of study or work. There are great websites like 'Jobillico' and 'Indeed' that will help you in your research, but remember that you will also need to make efforts to find a good seasonal job for you. SUMMER

Summer is the most touristic season in Montreal, attracting tons of people due to the numerous festivals and nice weather. Terraces finally open, meaning that it's the best time to look for a job in the field of restauration.
Many event going on in the street of Montreal like (Just for laught, Jazz festival, etc) so working in Security, food, cleaning can be every easy job to find and meet some new people

AUTUMN

What kinds of work are there in Montreal in autumn? Maybe it's harvest time, but do people need the help of foreigners for either cheap labour or expertise? This is the kind of thing we need to know here.

WINTER

If you are a certified ski instructor in your home country or have experience in this field, you can fin a job as at one of the ski resorts around Montreal. The Mont-Tremblant ski resort is a popular tourist destination and is looking to hire new ski and snowboard instructors every year for the winter season. It is very common for international workers to get hired there, but it is best to first check the requirements for work permits as these employers cannot guarantee your hours (it all depends on the weather and level of tourists).

ATTITUDE TO FOREIGNERS WORKING IN MONTREAL

Canada in general is a very welcoming country and Montreal is no exception. There is a very high proportion of the Montreal population that is from immigrant families so it is very common to see a mix of cultures around the city. You will see this in the various boroughs around Montreal with specific cultural shops and restaurants. If you only speak English, it will be easier to find employment in Montreal, which is very multicultural, rather than in Quebec City or any suburban town, where speaking French is usually a requirement for employment.
